Highly rated....most hated....welcome to the DARK DAYS EP, the latest offering from Norwich Hate Crew ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY.

Following the huge success of debut album  'Before The Throne Of Infection', which became the highest charting release EVER for a UK Death Metal band, AOAA have flirted with every influence they hold dear, gathering legions of fans from all over, transcending genre restrictions and conquering the stage with pure heavy music.

2009's 'II: The Reign Of Darkness' saw the band moving into full on Death Metal territory, with a monster of an album mixed by Erik Rutan of Hate Eternal.

Relentless touring on both sides of The Atlantic resulted in the band moving from strength to strength, until the untimely departure of guitarist Jamie Sweeney. With emotions at an all time high and a lot of bitterness and resentment in the air, AOAA decided to write an EP of songs as a bridge between the last album and their forthcoming full length due in early 2012.

This release first saw light with the song 'Stage Breaker' and an accompanying video which caused mass controversy over this releases' new found direction, splitting fans right down the middle.

Entitled 'DARK DAYS', this EP is the most personal and indeed, the most controversial of the bands' releases to date...taking a huge influence this time from the likes of Crowbar, Bury Your Dead and The Acacia Strain, DARK DAYS is a mixture of the bands early sound and a modern Ha rdcore imprint that still remains unmistakeably AOAA.

What next? A full length in 2012 that combines the strengths of AOAA's entire back catalogue to make a career defining album.

In the meantime, crank up your speakers and be bludgeoned by the stripped down fury of this EP, which includes a cover of Machine Head's 1998 classic track 'Ten Ton Hammer'.
